I just SOLD this incredibly priced, Alii home plan in the Villages at Mauna Lani with pool and rare solar system installed.

We are sad to see our friends Carolyn and Wayne Harper leave but we are also very happy Lisa and Zung Thai we will be bringing their family often to Hawaii to enjoy their new home and SURF!

Here’s the incredible story about how I met the new owner, Zung. I received a call on Monday to show another one of my resort listings on Thursday. On Thursday the surf was booming and I, as usual, went to enjoy a pre-dawn, surf before work. I paddled out just after 6 am and was joined around 8 am by a few others including someone on a short, rental board which is unusual for our break. He immediately lined up in the wrong spot where the wave was certainly destined to send him straight into the reef. I hesitated to say anything but decided to paddle over and gently mention to him a “headache” was on the way if he didn’t move from that area quick. He followed my ad-vice and we enjoyed a few more hours of epic waves together but not trading names as is typical in the roaring surf! When it approached my showing appointment time I bid everyone goodbye, including the guy I had kept out of the reef, and hustled home for a quick shower and off to my showing.

I had saved my Thursday showing appointments contact info and as I arrived to the property I received a text message from him stating he was eating lunch and running late. I had time to think about the surfer’s voice that I had kept out of the reef that morning and the buyer’s voice during the phone call on Monday and thought to myself-their voices are very similar! I texted the buyer back before his momentary arrival and asked if he was also surfing that morning and as I completed the text and waited for a reply, my new surf friend came around the corner and up the stairs to say, “Yes, it’s me! My wife is thankful you kept me out of the reef” What an incredible coincidence!!! What are the chances of surfing with your real estate showing appointment???

Well they didn’t buy the listing I showed him but they did buy Villages 431!!!! Zung, Lisa and family are now new members of the Makaiwa and Villages Hui. Lissette and I are super excited to have another great family in our community and I am super stoked to have another surf addict to share waves. Congratulations to the Thai family again! I can’t wait to enjoy many surf sessions with Zung!!
