Snow fell on Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa over the last few nights signaling the whales are soon to arrive from their seasonal journey from Alaska. Big waves are heading this way this afternoon-another sign that winter has arrived on the Big Island! Surf or ski? All possible this time of year if you dare to travel to 14,000’ and avoid the exposed rocks and un groomed conditions. Putty Clark-A Hui Ho’u
My friend and mentor, Putty Clark, passed yesterday 6.27.16. Putty was a person of character and integrity and a storehouse of local, real estate knowledge. Putty had an open door policy to all of his agents and brokers that made working within the organization both enjoyable and fulfilling for Lissette and I. Putty and I shared frequent conversations regarding sales statistics and market trends which I found insightful and many times determined the advice I often gave to my clients regarding buying and selling real estate. One of the main reasons Lissette and I joined Clark Realty was our initial meeting with Putty in his office in 2005 where he shared his philosophy regarding practicing real estate with integrity and following the real estate law-always. As some of you know, I’m also particular about understanding the applicable laws and ethics in my practice and we both agreed that joining Clark Realty was a perfect choice after the meeting. Putty was also passionate about giving back to the community and those in need. Our C...
2015 Clark Realty Top Producer Award
2015 was an award winning year in real estate sales production for myself and our team. I was named the Clark Realty Top Producer for 2015 as well as my Mauna Lani Office. Sales during the year included the sale of Big Island Country Club and many other transactions amounting to over $40m in net sale production. Mahalo to my many clients for their support in 2015 as well as my team including my wife Lissette and our assistant Stacy. Without your support our real estate practice would not prosper as it has and certainly would not be filled with the joy and happiness that your relationships have brought into our lives.
